Welcome, friends! Relationships are so needed, and the one that captivates me is Jesus. He captured my heart when I was a college student (a long time ago) and guided me on a journey of wholeness and love for Him.
I treasure God’s Word that fills my heart with wonder, and it’s my hope that you will find encouragement & His rest here.
Tennessee is home for me with my wonderful husband and German Shepherds, Smokey and Hazel.
A few of my “simple joys” are sitting on my front porch, reading a good book, writing, running (yes, running, anyone else?), ice cream dates with my husband, time with friends, and listening to my favorite podcast, Out of the Ordinary.
While I would love to sit on my front porch all day long to read and write, life is real, which means work. I am grateful for work, though, and enjoy my profession as a grant writer.
Thanks for visiting, and please come back. I hope you find this a place of rest, and let’s embrace the moments of those simple joys.
The Father is teaching me about rest. As I rest in Him, I become more of who He created me to be.
What I Do
Writer
Sharing encouragement inspired by the Word of God is a desire of my heart, and there is no better way to share hope with others than by writing and sharing stories on this blog.
Speaker
I am always grateful for the opportunities the Father gives me to share the Word of God at women’s ministry events and retreats to encourage others and bring hope.
