Be enlightened right where you’re at now. While I mentioned it last week, I think it’s worthwhile to mention it again. We are entering a new season. The new rhythms of a season can enlighten and inspire us.
Here’s what I’m learning. Be open to change. Change can be exceptionally hard sometimes. While at other times, change can be a breath fresh air. When change brings uncertainty, find the good. When it brings you fresh air, rejoice.
Be brave and embrace the now. I can enjoy the goodness of where I’m at now even if I haven’t made it to the finish line. Whether a difficult or joy-filled season, grace and goodness can enlighten my soul. As I invite Jesus into every season, I discover truth deep within my heart.
The One living within us bears much light and truth.
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6
Let’s welcome in the light of Jesus. As His light shines in our hearts, we experience new life. We see change as an open door to growth. We trust Him for the season.
I remember when I was in a season of pruning a couple of years ago. It wasn’t easy but I see the new season He has given me now, and I rejoice. Despite all the madness going on around us, I find myself slipping away from it all and entering a season of rest that has harvested into a season of enlightenment.
I am enlightened how He has taken my old self who once first ran to everyone and everything else who now peacefully runs to the embrace of the Father, nothing more. I am enlightened by the victories that my friends rejoice about. I’m enlightened by the wonder of God. I am enlightened by the beauty of His Word. I’m enlightened by the hope that sparks a dance within my heart.
Jesus invites us to a new season. I picture that season as one of peace and rest. I believe that’s a perfect season to dwell tightly in.
As we invite a new season of Fall, filled with pumpkin-spiced everything, let’s invite our hearts to a season of enlightenment. A season of new light. A season of hope where we embrace change, just as we take in the beauty of the leaves changing from green to golden colors.
Friends, may we truly be enlightened in this season.
Love this so much. The Lord keeps highlighting in different places the word NEW for me so I loved reading it here as well.
So proud of you friend!
I love the lessons He gives us from His creation, and you put it so beautifully!๐งก
