Have you ever just camped out with a Scripture verse or passage for weeks because the words are burning within you? It’s a fire that stirs up hope and joy and makes you want to stay awhile.
I have pitched my tent in a Psalm that I have read so many times but sensed Holy Spirit didn’t want me to rush by this one. And I want to share it with you, too.
For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Psalm 139:13
The Father of all creation who designed beauty all around us designed us. He created our innermost being, the depths deep within us that no one else sees.
We shouldn’t ignore what’s on the inside. We can find freedom by being honest and authentic rather than wearing the “I’m fine” mask. That may mean camping out in the secret place with Jesus. I learn so much more about myself when I’m willing to ask Him to search my heart. And after I have searched my heart, I find true freedom when I allow Jesus to take what I have searched and reshape me into His perfect design for me.
We’re wonderfully made, and He wants us to believe that, to live it in fullness every single day. He wants to meet us in the depths.
The One who created me knows me because He made me. He wants me to go to the depths with Him to know myself.
You are a daughter or son of the Living God. He created you. He knows you like no one else. And He wants you to know who you are. That takes a lot of heart work. Searching your heart in the secret place will allow you to grow in ways you never imagined.
The more you accept who you are, the more you will become who He designed you to be. The more you acknowledge your fears or struggles, the more you find true freedom. The more you take the time to have a heart-to-heart talk with Jesus, the more you’re able to let all else fall away, your concerns and calendar.
In the depths with Jesus, you’ll find more.
More confidence. More peace. More love. More freedom.
As I have camped in Psalm 139, a fire of light has dwelled within my heart. God knows my innermost being. He knows and is right there within my very soul. He knows every emotion, thought, every struggle, every joy, and dream. He is planting seeds, seeds that are still growing. In the meantime, I choose to stay in the secret place and allow Him to strengthen my innermost being.
We’re never alone. I encourage those of you who feel you’re alone in the journey. You’re not. If it seems like friends have drifted away, please know Jesus is standing in the doorway of your heart, inviting you to rest with Him and share your concerns with Him. I know you may not be able to see Him physically, but in that secret place, I know you’ll feel His presence with you.
Friends, I believe Jesus is calling us for more. And sometimes more is less. When He searches our hearts, we may find ourselves minimalizing our lives so we can focus on what matters.
You’ll find power and peace in the depths. When we go to the depths with Him, we don’t just see our innermost being, but we see His depths. He gives us glimpses of what He sees. As we dwell and camp there, I believe we’ll find more in the inmost.
My word from the Father, over the last few weeks, in the hospital, recovering from covid, has been to just breath.
My relationship with my Father has been renewed like never before. Love the blog sweet girl.
Such an encouragement for this season! Thank you ๐๐
When I think how deep and wide the love of God for us all I have to go to Genesis 1. He created everything for us and to communicate with us. In the beginning it worked until the fall of man. He and Adam walked and talked of things in the garden . What I am going to say people will say thats crazy but it is in the Bible. It shows how much God loved us before time began before there was anything He created.
Psalms 139:13-16 the days were fashioned for me before there any days and I was written in His book.
Hebrews 10:5-7 in the volume of the book it was written of me
2 Timothy 1:9 His purpose was given to us before time began
Romanโs 8:28-30 we were predestined, we were foreknew
Psalm 40:7 in the scroll of the book it is written of me
Eph 1:5 having predestionedus.
There is more but I feel this shows Godโs love for us and He wrote our destiny in a book scroll before time began. But it is up to us to find that path God set for us and fulfill His will
