This post is a little different this week. It is straight from my journal, but I believe there may be someone else who needs it.

Journal Excerpt:

The terrain right now is a little rocky. You walked through the valley and recently found the mountain top. There was so much joy in your heart when you reached the top of that mountain. It was a long journey to get there but so worth it as you took in a fresh breath of air that filled your lungs with life and excitement.

Pure joy. The light on that mountain top was incredible. Daughter of the Most High, the light is still there. Do not lose heart. Yes, the terrain is rocky right now. But keep walking. Keep climbing. Do not turn back.

I (the Father) am calling you to higher ground. The Most High who knows the depths of your heart that no one else knows. I see every tear and every frustration. You can’t see what awaits but I can and it’s full of My promises for you.

I see the bruises and know the story behind every scar. Jesus, has scars, too. And He is honored to walk this rough terrain with you no matter how long it takes. If you stumble, He will grab your hand and help you back up.

You may feel like you’re the only one walking on this rocky terrain, but He is walking along side of you. And there are others on rocky terrain and Jesus has them, too. Because He loves you so much. And He loves them so much.

A new perspective will come on higher ground. Fresh wisdom.

Take heart and stand firm. The Most High is taking you to higher ground.
